Prepare the ingredients- Remove the thyme leaves and chop into small bits.- Cut the tomatoes into large bits. Peel the onion & garlic and chop into small bits.
Brown the sausage- Heat the olive oil in the frying pan, add the Bratwurst and fry until brown on all sides.- Remove from the pan and keep safe.
Fry & simmer the ingredients- Add the onion and garlic into the same pan and fry until soft. Then add the chilli powder and stir.- Add the sausages back into the pan. Add the chopped tomatoes and 200 ml water.- Crumble the chicken stock on top bring to the boil and then simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
Finalise the sauce- Drain the kidney beans and then add the beans as well as the thyme into the pan.- Leave for a few minutes to warm up and then serve.
