This is our most popular breakfast shake recipe – and the tropical fruit shake is ideal as a quick & easy breakfast bursting with vitamins. Just to summarise
Advantages
Great taste, full of vitamins, all the ingredients easily available and easy & quick to make
Disadvantages
Not that high in protein and you might want to consider adding protein powder into the shake.
Do note that (unless you drink milk regularly) the lactose could cause side effects. An alternative is to use Soya Milk
.

Tropical Fruit Shake
Equipment
- 1 Blender or smoothie maker
Ingredients
- 250 ml Low fat milk or oat milk
- 1/2 cup Crushed pineapple
- 1 Orange
- 1/2 Fresh ripe banana
- 1 tbsp Protein powder optional
- 4-6 ice cubes
Instructions
- Pour the milk into the blender
- Add the Pineapple, orange and Banana
- Optionally also add the protein powder and ice cubes
- Blend until the ice cubes are completely crushed.
- Pour and enjoy
